Melissa is the founder of Nibble+squeak. A former expat mama, she lived in London for a decade, and returned to her home turf (NYC) with pipsqueak-in-tow and an outsized appetite!

Born and raised in Southern California, Alice was quite the picky eater as a child until she spent a semester of college in Spain that awakened her taste buds, as well as, gained her 15 lbs. After graduating, Alice worked doing Product Placement and then Real Estate knowing she loved meeting new people and building relationships. In 2011, Alice and her husband, Dennis, were offered an expatriate opportunity in Shanghai and moved to Asia where they were then able to take advantage of the close proximity to other countries and began exploring countries one bite at a time. As expats, they have become accustomed to constantly needing to make new friends as people come and go quite frequently, but have found the best way to get to know someone is always over a good meal and some wine. Now, having settled in Hong Kong for 2 years and with two children, Lorelai and Myles, they hope to continue exploring all the flavors that surround them.

Juan and Stephanie are a dynamic parent duo team from South Florida who are dedicated to instilling a love of good food in their twin daughters from an early age. Having lived in New York City, one of the foodie capitals of the world, both are very passionate about eating quality cuisines from around the world and want to share that passion with their girls. Juan, a devoted father and self-proclaimed “foodie”, works at a university and when he’s not busy working or with his twin girls, he’s busy writing about travel, parenting and the latest foodie spots in his blog, doubledutydaddy.com. Alicia is a voracious and enthusiastic eater. Born and raised in Hawaii, she fell in love with plate lunch, spam musubi, and poke. In her nine years in New York (at NYU as an undergraduate and as an attorney after law school) she often subsisted on street meat and the occasional Michelin-starred meal. While living in San Francisco she gained a deep appreciation for wine and dim sum. has more restaurants per capita than any other city – or so the locals here like to say. With a background
in mechanical engineering and sustainable design for commercial buildings, Sarah prides herself on
attention to detail and effective communication. This comes in handy during her spare time, whether
planning local foodie events or leading fitness classes. Speaking of spare time, there’s somehow less of
that these days with a toddler and a baby. But there is no greater joy than hearing your child say those
magic words, “More miso soup, please.”
